Agilis HR Consulting takes data privacy seriously and maintain a Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to describe how we will use information on individuals who visit this website or participate in our executive search and assessment services. Agilis HR Consulting is committed to ensuring that the information we collect about our candidates is kept confidential and used lawfully and fairly. We meet that commitment by following this policy. Please read it carefully. Whenever you send us personal details about yourself, you consent to that information being treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

General

Although Agilis HR Consulting operates its search and recruitment business in more than one country, all of the information we hold about our candidates is held on computer systems Singapore. Whenever you send us personal information about yourself, you consent to it being treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy, regardless of which country you send it from.

What Data We Collect From You and How 

Agilis HR Consulting will collect information from you with the following purpose: 

  • Assist you in finding work;
  • Provide proper advice in your career and for your firm;
  • Study and analyze human resource and industry trends, and various labor markets;

We cannot consider you for any of our job vacancies unless you have sent us a copy of your latest resume/CV. By sending us this personal information (whether you do so by post, fax, email or via our website) you consent to it being stored, processed and used by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and to your resume/CV being rewritten in our standard format

We reserve the right to ask you to attend an interview with us. We will use this opportunity to verify your identity and qualifications and to collect further information about you, such as your marital status, date of birth, state of health and referee contact details.

 We may take up references on you. Such references may provide us with additional personal information about you, such as your work record and details of criminal convictions.

We reserve the right to record and store telephone conversations we have with you, to monitor the level of service we are providing and also for staff training and record keeping purposes.

How Your Data is Stored, Accessed and Used

Any information we collect from you is stored on secure servers hosted by ourselves or our internet service provider. Only our authorised employees can access your details. Although no computer system can be 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access.

We will use your personal data to facilitate the recruitment process and to contact you about jobs you have applied for or other job opportunities.

We will not share your data with any third party without your permission, except in the event that: either we believe in good faith that we are required to disclose information about you in order to comply with the law or with an order issued by a court of competent jurisdiction, or to cooperate with lawful authorities in matters such as the investigation of a serious crime or the collection of taxes and duties; or we participate in a corporate merger or takeover, in which case your details will be shared with our new business partners or owners following the successful completion of such an event.

Use by Third Party

Agilis HR Consulting may use and disclose your personal information to third parties for the purposes it was collected, or for a related or ancillary purpose such as providing you with one of our services. Accordingly, Agilis HR Consulting may disclose your personal information to a number of third parties, including but not limited to:

  • Prospective employers;
  • Clients who may wish to engage your services;
  • Agilis HR Consulting suppliers or service providers, including organisations that conduct competency or psychometric tests on behalf of Agilis HR Consulting;
  • your nominated referees;
  • any government authority, or workers compensation body;
  • any law enforcement body, including the Singapore Police; or
  • any educational or vocational organizations to the extent necessary to verify your qualifications.

If Agilis HR Consulting discloses personal information to any third party, Agilis HR Consulting will generally request these parties to protect such personal information in the same way that Agilis HR Consulting does.

 

Updates

We will hold your details for as long as necessary and in accordance with our legitimate interests. We try to ensure that the information we hold about our candidates is up to date, accurate and complete. With this in mind, we rely on you to notify us if your data requires correcting or updating. We will try to incorporate any changes you tell us about into your records in a timely manner.

Your Rights

You have a right to request a full copy of the information we hold about you. Any requests of this kind should be sent to our office in Singapore. We reserve the right to charge a small administration fee for this service.

You also have the following rights:

  • a right to see the information we hold about you
  • a right to have any mistakes corrected or (in certain circumstances) to have your personal information deleted
  • a right to ask us to stop providing you with recruitment services

Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Such changes will be posted on our website before they are due to take effect.

Disclaimer

The recruitment process may result in personal information about candidates being transferred to computer systems outside Singapore especially when we do cross boarder searches. Other firms do not always have data protection laws as strong as ours. Whilst we will try to ensure that this privacy policy is respected by third parties, we cannot guarantee that they will do so.
